Russians fire 309 shells at Kherson region, killing civilian

Over the past day, May 31, the Russian army shelled Kherson region 61 times. One person was killed and five people, including a child, were injured.

“Over the past 24 hours, the Russians launched 61 strikes, firing 309 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks, and UAVs,” Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin posted on Telegram.

The enemy hit the city of Kherson 11 times, firing 57 shells.

"The Russian military struck the residential neighborhoods of the populated settlements of the region. Due to the Russian aggression, one person was killed, another five (one of them a child) were injured," Prokudin added.

Over the past day, 108 people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the region.
