Two men injured as Russian forces shell Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region
Two men were injured, and houses, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged as the Russian forces attacked Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Since the morning, the enemy has been striking Nikopol district. First, Marhanets community came under attack, and now Nikopol. There are casualties in the city. Two men, aged 50 and 55, have been injured," Lysak wrote.
He noted that the injured were hospitalized in a moderate condition.
In the city, a five-story building, a private residential building, a car, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged.
The examination of affected territories is ongoing, the regional governor said.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army fired heavy artillery at Velykomykhaylivka community of Synelnykove district last night, and Marhanets community this morning.
