Two people injured in Kherson as result of shelling

In the morning of 1 June, the Russian army shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, two people were injured.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

"At four in the morning, the Russian army hit a residential building, causing the house to be destroyed and damaging cars parked nearby. Two men were injured as a result of the enemy strike," the statement said.

The RMA clarified that the 26-year-old citizen of Kherson suffered burns to his hands, and the 41-year-old had mine-blast trauma and shrapnel injuries to his neck and legs. Both were hospitalised and are being treated by doctors.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian army fired 61 times on the Kherson region on 31 May: one person was killed and five people were injured, including a child.
