15 people injured in Kherson, region as result of Russian shelling
On 1 June, 15 people were injured in Kherson and the region as a result of hostile shelling - a pre-trial investigation has been launched.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, according to Ukrinform.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson and Beryslav District Prosecutor's Offices, the pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was initiated.
According to the investigation, on 1 June, Russian troops once again attacked Kherson and the region's settlements.
About 15 people were injured in the shelling in Kherson and the Beryslav districts. The data is being clarified.
Residential buildings, outbuildings and a shop were damaged.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Centre of the Southern Operational Command, said during the United News telethon that Russian troops had returned to the tactics of using guided aerial bombs in the south. In particular, in the Kherson region, the Beryslav and Kherson districts are most affected by shelling.
