Russian invaders have already killed 484 children in Ukraine

As a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression, 484 children have been killed in Ukraine.

“As of the morning of June 2, 2023, more than 1,476 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information provided by juvenile prosecutors, 484 children were killed and more than 992 received injuries of various degrees of severity,” the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office wrote on Telegram.

It is noted that these figures are not final, as work is underway in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region - 462, Kharkiv region - 279, Kyiv region - 128, Kherson region - 103, Zaporizhzhia region – 91, Mykolaiv region - 89, Dnipropetrovsk region – 74, Chernihiv region - 71, and Luhansk region – 67.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of June 1, the Russian forces fired 10 Iskander missiles at Kyiv. The air defense forces intercepted all the missiles. 19 people were injured, three of them died, including a child.
