One killed, two injured as Russians shell Zaporizhzhia region
The Russian forces shelled Zaporizhzhia region 111 times in the past day, killing a civilian and injuring two more.
Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"111 attacks were launched by the enemy on 22 towns and villages across the region: air strikes on Novodanylivka and Poltavka, three UAV attacks on Stepove and Kamianske, 15 MLRS attacks on Temyrivka, Zatyshshia, Krasna Krynytsia, Huliaipole, Kamianske, 91 artillery attacks on Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Chervone, Plavni, Stepnohirsk, Malynivka and other front-line settlements," the report says.
It is noted that a Russian projectile, which hit a residential building, killed a 68-year-old resident of Huliaipole.
In addition, a family was injured in the shelling of Plavni - a 35-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were taken to the medical facility with mine and explosive injuries.
Law enforcers recorded 31 cases of destruction of housing stock and civilian property.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army launched 78 attacks on populated areas across Zaporizhzhia region on Wednesday.
