Kherson region comes under enemy fire 65 times, five civilians injured
On June 2, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 65 times, having fired 265 projectiles.
The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Russian troops used the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), mortars, artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aircraft.
The city of Kherson came under enemy fire five times. A total of 29 Russian projectiles were recorded.
According to Prokudin, Russian invaders targeted residential areas across the Kherson region’s settlements. An outpatient department, two churches and three administrative buildings were hit in the Beryslav district.
Five civilians were reported injured, including two children.
Meanwhile, 81 more people have been evacuated from the Kherson region’s de-occupied areas over the past day.
