Five children have been affected by Russia’s attack on the suburbs of the city of Dnipro. Three of them are in critical condition.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak, an Ukrinform correspondent reports from the scene.

“Twenty-two people were injured, and five children among them. Three of them [children – Ed.] are in critical condition. Our medics are making everything possible. Unfortunately, one child, born in 2021, was killed,” Lysak told.

In his words, six apartments were completely ruined in the enemy attack. An expert assessment will be made whether the rest of the houses damaged undergo restoration or get demolished.

According to Lysak, the affected community will receive aid from the state and regional budgets.

A reminder that, on the evening of June 3, 2023, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Pidhorodne community, having hit a two-storey residential building.
