General Staff updates number of Shahed drones downed overnight Sun

On the night of June 4, the Russian army launched at Ukraine eight Shahed-136/131 one-way attack drones, six of which were shot down.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces posted the updated data on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the updated report, Ukraine’s Air Force Command, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, destroyed four out of six Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and six out of eight Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs," the report said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of June 4, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles and Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones. Morning reports said four enemy missiles and three drones had been shot down.

On the night of June 4, two Russian missiles hit an operational military airfield near Kropyvnytskyi.

The invaders also launched attack drones at Sumy region, causing damage to infrastructure.
