Enemy shells hospital, residential quarters of Kherson
The Russian forces shelled residential quarters, damaged houses, two educational institutions, and a medical facility in Kherson overnight Monday.
The press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"According to preliminary information, the city was attacked with multiple launch rocket systems, as well as prohibited incendiary ammunition, many fires broke out. As a result of the strikes by the Russian army, about twenty residential buildings, garages, cars, and two educational institutions were damaged," the report says.
In addition, the Russian troops fired at a medical facility, where 135 patients and 44 doctors were staying. They were not injured. Windows and doors were broken in the hospital.
A 47-year-old woman was injured in the nighttime shelling of Kherson. She was provided with medical assistance on the spot and refused hospitalization.
In addition, the invaders shelled Mykilske in Kherson district with artillery - dozens of "hits" were recorded. Residential buildings and a critical infrastructure object were damaged.
As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy dropped aerial bombs on production shops of Beryslav’s machine and building plant.
