Water level in Hola Prystan community reaches 3.5 meters in some places

In the settlements of the occupied Hola Prystan community of the Kherson region, water is coming, its level sometimes reaches 3.5 meters.

Head of the Hola Prystan Regional Military Administration Svitlana Linnyk said this, Ukrinform reports.

"In the settlements of the Hola Prystan community, water continues to come in and its level in some areas has reached 3.5 meters," Linnyk said.

According to her, the villages of Kardashynka and Kokhany are completely flooded. Water also continues to arrive in Hola Prystan, the eastern part of which is already completely under water. In the central part of the city, the water level reaches 1 to 1.5 meters.

The coastline of the village of Stara Zburivka is flooded.

Local residents are trying to evacuate by boat to a safe place on their own.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant on June 6.
