Russians shell Nikopol district four times today
The Russian forces struck Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region four times on Wednesday, June 7.
Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"A drone attack was recorded in Myrove community. 2 private residential buildings, an outbuilding, 3 cars, a tractor were damaged," the post says.
Artillery strikes on Nikopol damaged an educational institution, 2 private enterprises, 8 private residential buildings, 6 outbuildings, a low-pressure gas pipeline, and a power transmission line were damaged.
No casualties have been reported.
As earlier reported, on the instructions of President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Cabinet of Ministers approved an urgent decision to allocate UAH 1.5 billion from the Recovery Fund for the construction of two main water pipelines to provide Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol and Marhanets with drinking water.
