Russia deploys frigate with eight Kalibr missiles on board off Crimea coast
The Russian invasion forces on Monday deployed a frigate carrying eight Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea.
That’s according to the press service of Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy continues to maneuver their naval grouping. In their latest rotation of missile carriers, a submarine is brought to the base and a frigate carrying eight Kalibr missiles was put on combat duty. The missile threat remains high," the report said.
As noted, the Russians seek to exhaust Ukraine’s air defenses and civilians, employing various types of weapons to combine methods of fire pressure. The Command urged citizens to promptly react to air raid alert signals and seek shelter or stick to the "two-walls" rule.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of this morning, Russia kept three warships on combat duty in the Black Sea, with no missile carriers among them.
