Ukraine's air defense forces destroy 11 cruise missiles, attack drone

The air defense forces and means of the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 11 cruise missiles and an attack drone on June 13.

The Ukrainian Air Force said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On the night of June 13, the enemy launched a strike using eight Tu-95ms strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea area and several attack drones from the south. A total of 14 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles and up to four Shahed-136/131 UAVs were launched," the post reads.

In the morning, Russian forces launched a second attack from the Caspian Sea area using three Tu-95ms bombers. According to preliminary data, only one cruise missile reached Ukraine this time, and it was intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses.
