Russian army shells Bilozerka: hit to church yard, priest killed
The Russian troops shelled Bilozerka in Kherson region with artillery, hitting the church yard, killing a priest and injuring a woman.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The Russian army shelled Bilozerka with artillery, hit the church yard and killed a priest. The deceased was 72 years old. A 76-year-old woman was also wounded," Yermak wrote.
According to him, Russian strikes damaged four residential buildings, the post office, administrative buildings, the central square, and critical infrastructure.
As Ukrinform reported, yesterday in Kherson, the center, Korabel and Shumensky neighborhoods were under artillery fire from Russian troops.
In total, the Russian army fired 39 times in Kherson region during the past day.
