Russians killed 488 children in Ukraine since war-start

As a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression, 488 children have been killed in Ukraine.

“As of the morning of June 14, 2023, more than 1,504 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information provided by juvenile prosecutors, 488 children were killed and more than 1,016 received injuries of various degrees of severity,” the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office wrote on Telegram.

It is noted that these figures are not final, as work is underway in the areas of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Most children were affected in Donetsk region - 464, Kharkiv region - 283, Kyiv region - 128, Kherson region - 105, Zaporizhzhia region – 91, Mykolaiv region - 89, Dnipropetrovsk region – 81, Chernihiv region – 71, and Luhansk region – 67.

On June 13, a 17-year-old boy was killed in Russia’s missile attack on in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region.

On the same day, a 9-year-old girl was injured in enemy shelling of the village of Karierne, Kherson region.
