In Sloviansk community of Donetsk region, two men explode on mine, one killed

In the Sloviansk community in the Donetsk region, two men exploded on a mine near the river, killing one of them.

Vadym Lyakh, the head of the Sloviansk MVA, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Unfortunately, yesterday a tragedy happened in our community. A family from Bilbasivka - father, mother, adult son and his wife and their young child - went to rest on the Donets River in Sydorovo. The men tried to approach the river and were hit by a MON-50 mine... The 50-year-old father died on the spot," Lyakh wrote.

According to him, this tragedy occurred in front of women and a child. Doctors are currently fighting for the young man's life.

Lyakh called on the community residents to be vigilant, as outdoor recreation is now prohibited.

As reported, the Donetsk region is currently under constant shelling by Russian troops, the enemy kills and injures civilians and destroys infrastructure facilities in the region every day. A large area of the region is mined and dangerous.
