Ukraine shoots down two Russian Kh-101/555 missiles over Mykolayiv region

Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted two Russian Kh-101/555-type cruise missiles in Mykolaiv region overnight Saturday.

That’s according to the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, Ukrinform reports.

"On the night of June 24, around 03:00, two Russian cruise missiles of the Kh-101/555 type were shot down by the air defense forces of Air Force Command South in Mykolayiv region," Kim reported via Telegram.

Also, according to the official, yesterday at 17:22 on Friday, enemy artillery shelled the water area of the Ochakiv community, inflicting no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Bashtanka, and Voznesensk districts, the past day and night were relatively calmly, added the head of the administration.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russians launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine overnight Saturday, June 24.
