AFU advance in Bakhmut direction, destroy enemy equipment in Luhansk direction – Syrskyi

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue eliminating Russian occupiers and destroying their military equipment in the Bakhmut and Luhansk directions.

The relevant statement was made by Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Defense Forces continue eliminating Russians on the front. Our warriors are advancing in the Bakhmut direction,” Syrskyi wrote.

In his words, in the Luhansk direction, the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade is showing an excellent performance in cooperation with the air reconnaissance units of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. As a result, the enemy is losing its equipment.

Syrskyi also posted a video of a Russian fuel servicing truck being destroyed by the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade.

“Ukraine will bring back all of its territories. The enemy has no chance,” Syrskyi stressed.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and June 24, 2023, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 223,910 troops.
