Ukraine’s Air Force launches 18 strikes on enemy positions

The Air Force of Ukraine launched 18 strikes on Russian manpower clusters in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, using 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 9 Kh-22 missiles, 2 Kalibr sea-based missiles, 2 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 3 Shahed drones. The air defense forces downed 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, one Kalibr cruise missile and three Shahed attack drones. The Russian terrorists fired Kh-22 missiles at the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih,” the report says.

Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian terrorist attack, there are dead and injured civilians, including children. Dozens of private residential buildings, civilian farm buildings, and more than 50 private cars were destroyed or damaged.

In total, in the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 53 missile attacks and 15 air strikes, as well as about 50 MLRS attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

The probability of further missile attacks and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, the General Staff warns.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions - 29 combat engagement took place in the past day.

According to the General Staff, in past 24 hours, aircraft of the Defense Forces launched 18 strikes on enemy manpower clusters, as well as one strike targeting enemy anti-aircraft missile system. In addition, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed six reconnaissance UAVs. Units of the Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery hit Russia’s Strela anti-aircraft missile system, three manpower and military equipment clusters, 12 artillery units in firing position, as well as two enemy EW stations.

As reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 223,910 Russian invaders since war-start.
