Russian army strikes Kherson region 59 times, two civilians injured

The Russian army shelled Kherson region 59 times on Saturday, June 24.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"In the past day, the enemy carried out 59 attacks, firing 235 projectiles using mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS and aircraft," Prokudin said.

According to him, the Russian military targeted residential quarters of the region.

He stressed that two people were injured in Russian attacks.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 23, Russian troops shelled a trolleybus company in Kherson, killing three people.
