Over 100 invaders eliminated, nine taken prisoner in Bakhmut sector – Cherevatyi

Fifteen military clashes have occurred in the Bakhmut direction over the past day. The Ukrainian military eliminated over 100 Russian occupiers.

The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Eastern Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhii Cherevatyi during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, the enemy has attacked our positions with cannon and rocket artillery 309 times. Fifteen military clashes occurred, and two air attacks were launched,” Cherevatyi told.

In his words, 111 Russian occupiers were eliminated, 187 injured and nine taken prisoner.

According to Cherevatyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi will soon share a video with these prisoners.

“These are veterans from the private military company, and you will see what kind of social class they represent,” Cherevatyi added.

A reminder that, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military continue the offensive operation in the Melitopol, Berdiansk and Bakhmut directions.
