AFU advance in Tavria direction - almost three Russian companies destroyed over last day
In the Tavria direction, in the last 24 hours, Russian troops lost almost three companies killed and wounded, and 19 pieces of military equipment were destroyed.
General Alexander Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Defense forces are continuing to advance in the Tavria direction. Rocket and artillery units carried out 1,337 firing missions over the last day," Tarnavsky said.
He noted that over the past day, enemy losses in killed and wounded amounted to almost three companies. Also, 19 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed.
In particular, two tanks, BREMs, MTLBs, BRMs, Orlan-10 UAVs, Zala UAVs, 2S3 Acacia self-propelled artillery system, 2A65 Msta-B howitzer and automotive vehicles were destroyed.
As reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated about 227,780 Russian invaders from February 24, 2022, to June 29, 2023, including 680 people over the past day.
