Rescuers show aftermath of Russia’s shelling of apartment block in Kherson

In Kherson, rescuers extinguished a fire in the apartment block, which had been struck by Russian projectiles.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Kherson. This time the enemy has targeted an apartment block. The rescuers who had arrived to inspect the scene extinguished a fire in a balcony of the apartments destroyed on floor 7,” the report states.
Two people were injured and taken to hospital. No fatalities were reported.
A reminder that, on July 2, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the city of Kherson. A pharmacy, a café, and an apartment block were hit. At least four civilians were injured.
