Ukrainian forces eliminated over 5,000 Russian soldiers, destroyed 154 artillery systems in past week

From June 26 to July 2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 5,030 Russian troops and destroyed 154 artillery systems.

First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"From June 26 to July 2, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 5,030 enemy military personnel," the report says.

According to Pavliuk, Russia’s military equipment also suffered significant losses.

Thus, over the past week, the Russian military lost 22 tanks, 82 armored combat vehicles, 154 artillery systems, 13 multiple launch rocket systems, 5 air defense systems, 81 units of motor vehicles and 31 units of special equipment.

In addition, the Ukrainian defenders shot down 1 enemy aircraft, 2 missiles and 85 unmanned aerial vehicles.

As reported by Ukrinform, soldiers of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" downed a Russian Su-25 fighter jet on June 28.
