At night, enemy launches 17 Shaheds at Ukraine, 13 of them destroyed by Air Defenses
At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 17 Shahed-136/131 attack drones, 13 of which were destroyed by Air Defenses.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
" At night on July 3, 2023, the Russian occupation forces carried out another attack with Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack drones from the southeast. Overall, 17 Shaheds were launched," the statement said.
Air Defense were deployed in the southern, eastern and central regions. As a result of an air battle, the Air Forces, in cooperation with the Air Defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 13 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The rest did not reach their targets.
Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.
Over the past and current days, the Air Forces aviation carried out dozens of sorties, 15 of which were aimed at the enemy's targets, equipment, logistics and manpower.
As reported, the Air Forces believe that Iran is supplying Russia with Shaheds by air and sea.
