Russian forces shell two communities in Dnipropetrovsk region, woman injured

The enemy shelled Marhanets and Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, on Sunday evening, July 2. An 86-year-old woman was injured.

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Late in the evening, Marhanets and Nikopol came under enemy artillery fire. The latter was affected the most. An 86-year-old woman was injured. She has a blast injury and a shrapnel wound. Her condition is satisfactory," the post says.

In the city, nine private houses, seven outbuildings, and a car were damaged. Gas pipelines and power line were also damaged. A solar panel was broken.

In addition, soldiers from the Operational Command East shot down a Shahed-136 drone over the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian military shelled a church, an administrative building and a canteen in Nikopol.
