Russians strike Pervomayskyi in Kharkiv region injuring 12 people

The Russians struck the town of Pervomayskyi in Kharkiv region. According to preliminary data, 12 people were injured, five of them children, cars were destroyed and houses were damaged.

"Explosion rocked the town of Pervomayskyi around 13:35. According to preliminary information, a high-explosive projectile was fired. As a result, several cars caught fire in a parking lot. Currently, 12 injured people are known, including five children," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Relevant specialists are on site, doctors provide assistance to the injured.

Today, people in Pervomayskyi bid farewell to fallen serviceman Oleh Fadeyenko (call sign "Malysh") who died in the hospital from a serious wound received near Bakhmut.

The explosion in the city rang out half an hour after the memorial service started.

According to the data of the Pervomayskyi Town Council, Fadeyenko was one of the leaders of the "Kharkiv Century", the commander of a reconnaissance platoon of the 1st Assault Battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. From the first days of the invasion, "Malysh" defended Kharkiv city and liberated Kharkiv region as part of the special unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence "Kraken", and later served as part of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

As reported, in September 2022, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Pervomayskyi in Kharkiv region. A 15-year-old child was killed. Critical infrastructure was damaged and two private houses were completely destroyed.
