Zelensky tells Macron that Russia preparing provocations at Zaporizhzhia NPP

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a call with President of France Emmanuel Macron discussed possible Russian provocations at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, defense agreements, and the situation in Russia and on the battlefield.

The relevant report was posted on the official Telegram channel of President Zelensky, Ukrinform reports.

“As always, a useful and productive conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron… I warned Emmanuel Macron that the occupation troops are preparing dangerous provocations at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. We agreed to keep the situation under maximum control together with the IAEA,” the report says.

The parties also discussed the implementation of previous and reached new defense agreements.

“Thank you for a large batch of armored vehicles, including much-needed medical transport, additional light tanks and air defense systems,” Zelensky wrote.

The presidents also discussed in detail the situation in Russia and on the battlefield.

“After Prigozhin's actions, the whole world saw that Russia has no room for maneuver on the battlefield. On the contrary, a window of opportunity is opening for us. We must act decisively both militarily and politically. Therefore, it is very important for the Summit in Vilnius to be effective,” Zelensky wrote.

As reported, the NATO summit will be held in Vilnius on July 11-12
