Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to about 231,700

Russia has already lost about 231,700 troops in Ukraine (+670 over the past day).

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between February 24, 2022 and July 5, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 4,062 tanks (+3 over the past day), 7,917 armored fighting vehicles (+9), 4,288 artillery systems (+36), 656 multiple launch rocket systems (+9), 395 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 315 aircraft, 309 helicopters, 6,865 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+22), 18 warships/boats, 3,614 unmanned aerial vehicles (+12), 598 special equipment units (+8). A total of 1,264 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.

A reminder that, on July 4, 2023, Ukraine’s Air Force launched 13 strikes on Russian personnel clusters, three – on air defense missile systems, and one – on an enemy command post.
