Hromov: Defense forces hit Chonhar Bridge with Storm Shadow missiles

The defense forces of Ukraine hit the Chonhar Bridge and the parallel crossing over Lake Syvash with Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles.

Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian troops can destroy the enemy’s critical military objects at a distance of up to 250 km with the help of Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles, he noted.

"The proof of the effectiveness of these cruise missiles is the damage to the bridges over Lake Syvash near Chonhar which made ammunition and other material and technical means supplies much more difficult for the enemy," Hromov emphasized.

As reported, on June 22 it became known about the damage caused by the strike on Chonhar Bridge, which connects Crimea with mainland Ukraine, and a parallel crossing across Lake Syvash.
