Condition of infant injured in Pervomaiskyi moderate
The injured baby from Pervomaiskyi in the Kharkiv region is in moderate condition.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this on the air of the national telethon "United News", an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The child who was in intensive care yesterday was injured by the blast wave, and the baby's condition is currently assessed as moderate," said Syniehubov.
He noted that most of the injured received shrapnel wounds from glass. Five people are in medical institutions in Pervomaiskyi, two are in Kharkiv hospitals.
Currently, the city is eliminating the consequences of the missile strike. Electricity, water and gas supply have been restored.
The regional military administration has sent more than 10,000 square meters of plastic sheeting and more than 6,000 sheets of weather stripping to close windows and doors.
"A total of 18 residential buildings were damaged: Nine of them are completely without windows and doors, the rest have minor damage," noted Syniehubov.
Also, almost 2,000 food packages were sent to the residents of Pervomaiskyi.
As reported by Ukrinform, at about 13:35 on July 4, Russians shelled the town of Pervomaiskyi. According to the regional prosecutor's office, the invaders used an Iskander missile. As a result of the terrorist attack, 43 people were injured, including 12 children (two of them infants). The missile strike damaged 2,000 homes, as well as buildings of a kindergarten, court, and school.
