Three civilians injured in Russian shelling of Kherson region

In Kherson region, three people were injured in Russian shelling on Wednesday, July 5.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the investigation, on July 5, the Russian forces again shelled populated areas of Kherson and Beryslav districts. In the morning, as a result of the shelling of Antonivka village, a local man was injured near his house,” the report says.

It is specified that at around 13:20, the invaders fired at the village of Ivanivka, Dariivka community, where a local resident was injured. In addition, during the humanitarian aid distribution, the Russians attacked the village of Sadove, injuring a woman.

As a result of the shelling, houses, outbuildings, power lines, gas pipelines, and motor vehicles were damaged.

Under the procedural leadership of the district prosecutor's offices of Kherson region, pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 4, the Russian invaders shelled Kherson region 83 times, two people were killed.
