Death toll from Russia’s missile strike on Lviv grows to four

The number of people killed in a Russian missile attack on Lviv has grown to four.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of a Russian missile strike, an apartment building was damaged. The third and fourth floors of two sections were destroyed. A search and rescue operation is underway. As of 07:00, four people were killed, nine were injured. The employees of the State Emergency Service rescued seven people, evacuated 64. The rescuers continue to clear the debris," the report says.

In addition, psychologists are working at the scene. Mobile police stations have been deployed, where they accept applications from victims and provide the necessary assistance.

"There is information that people may still be under the rubble," the ministry said.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said that more than half a hundred apartments had been destroyed.

As earlier reported, Russia again attacked Ukraine with Kalibr missiles launched from the Black Sea last night. As a result of the night missile attack on Lviv city, people were injured and critical infrastructure objects were damaged.
