Death toll from missile strike on Lviv rises to five
The number of those killed in a nighttime enemy missile attack on Lviv has grown to five.
Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The body of a woman was retrieved from under the rubble. Sincere condolences to the relatives,” the region’s head wrote.
He noted that rescuers continue to work at the scene of the tragedy.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians launched a missile attack on Lviv at night, targeting a critical infrastructure facility and a residential building. As a result of the attack, the third and fourth floors of a four-story residential building were destroyed.
Seven people were saved, 37 people were injured, and 64 people were evacuated.
