Death toll in missile attack on Lviv rises to ten - Sadovyi
Search and rescue operations are nearing completion in Lviv, and the death toll from a Russian missile hitting a residential building has risen to ten.
Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"We have just found the 10th body. It is a woman. Emergency workers are freeing the victim from the rubble," Sadovyi wrote.
The mayor added that this will be the end of the rescue and search operation.
As Ukrinform reported, last night Russian troops attacked Lviv with Kalibr cruise missiles.
SES employees rescued seven people. 64 people were evacuated. 14 victims were taken to the hospital. Nine tents were set up to provide accommodation, food and psychological assistance. 40 people were temporarily resettled in a modular town, a hotel and a children's center for sports, tourism and excursions.
