Russians shell Nikopol and Marhanets community with heavy artillery

The Russian forces hit Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, with heavy artillery.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy hit Nikopol district with heavy artillery. In the evening, [the Russian forces] targeted Marhanets community. And already after 1 a.m., they struck Nikopol,” he wrote.

Lysak stressed that there were no victims. The extent of the damage caused by the Russian shelling is being clarified.

As earlier reported, about 30 combat engagements have been recorded in the past day: the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, heavy fighting is ongoing.
