Ukraine's defense forces moving forward in Tavria sector – General Tarnavskyi

Ukraine's defense forces are moving forward in the Tavria sector, killing and wounding more than two companies of Russian troops in the past day.

General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational grouping of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We're moving forward. The movement of the Defense Forces continues in the Tavria direction. The enemy is being destroyed," he wrote.

According to him, Ukrainian artillery units completed 1,179 combat tasks in the past day.

Ukrainian defenders destroyed 17 pieces of Russian military equipment, including a tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, two Zala UAVs, a Supercam UAV, an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery piece, an electronic warfare station, a Murom-M long-range visual surveillance system, and vehicles.

In addition, Ukraine's defense forces destroyed nine ammunition depots of the Russians.
