Overnight, Air Defense Forces destroy 26 Shaheds, enemy helicopter

At night on July 11, 2023, Russians attacked Ukraine from the southeast (Prymorsko-Akhtarsk) with Shahed-136/13 attack drones. 26 of the 28 Shaheds were destroyed.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of successful combat operations in the area of responsibility of the South and Center Air Commands, the Air Forces, in cooperation with the Air Defenses of other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed 26 attack UAVs and one 'Zala' reconnaissance drone," the statement said.

A total of 28 kamikaze drones were involved in the strike.

In addition, over the past day, July 10, the Air Forces destroyed an enemy helicopter (type to be specified), three 'Lancet' attack UAVs and four operational and tactical reconnaissance drones.

Over the current and previous days, the Air Forces conducted more than 20 group air strikes on enemy positions.

As previously reported by the agency, at night on July 11, Russians once again attacked the territory of Ukraine.
