Norway to increase military support to Ukraine this year

Norway will increase its military support to Ukraine to 10 billion Norwegian crowns this year.

The Government of Norway said in a statement on Tuesday that the fund would be increased by 2.5 billion crowns ($239 million) to 10 billion, Ukrinform reports, referring to Reuters.

The government will also increase its contribution to NATO’s support fund for Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, Norway made a grant contribution of NOK2 billion ($190 million) to the Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Trust Fund (URTF).
