On the night of July 11, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 26 enemy Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs and one Zala reconnaissance drone.

Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev wrote this on Telegram and posted the revenant video, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of successful combat work by the means of the Air Force and other components of the Defense Forces, 26 attack UAVs and one reconnaissance drone of the Zala type were destroyed," he said.

According to Nayev, the enemy attacked Kyiv for the second time in a month using drones that were launched from the southeastern direction (Russia’s Primorsko-Akhtarsk).

"Our mobile groups and air defense forces began their work to intercept and destroy targets on the approaches to Kyiv. All targets were destroyed with our multi-layered air defense systems," Nayev stressed.

The commander reported that the debris of some drones fell on a settlement in Kyiv region; fortunately, there were no casualties.

At the same time, Nayev called on Ukrainians to stay in shelters during air raid alerts.

"Let's move on! Together we will win!" the commander said.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of July 11, the Russians once again attacked the territory of Ukraine with UAVs, air raid sirens went off in some regions.
