France to simplify process of supplying weapons to Ukraine – Reznikov

France will increase military aid to Ukraine by €170 million and simplify the process for procurement and supply of weapons.

Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted this on Twitter following a meeting with Defense Minister of France Sébastien Lecornu, Ukrinform reports.

“Today, in Vilnius, we signed an Agreement between the Ministries of Defense of Ukraine and France. Military aid to Ukraine will increase by €170 million; process for procurement and supply of weapons to Ukraine will be simplified; a framework is being established for the joint production of spare parts and maintenance of foreign weapons and equipment,” Reznikov wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, the NATO summit is being held in the capital of Lithuania on July 11-12. President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Vilnius on Tuesday.
