Two people injured in drone attack in Cherkasy region

Two people were injured in the Cherkasy region as a result of an attack by Russian Shahed drones.

Ihor Taburets, the head of the Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, the Cherkasy region has been on air raid alert for more than three and a half hours. The enemy attacked the region with "Shaheds".

"The Russians hit one of the non-residential infrastructure facilities in the Cherkasy district," emphasized Taburets.

A fire broke out and has been extinguished. Two people with burns were taken to the hospital. The inspection of the territory continues, Taburets added.

As reported, at night in the sky over Ukraine, 11 out of 15 enemy attack drones of Iranian production Shahed-136/131 were destroyed.
