Enemy shells Zaporizhzhia region 69 times, civilian killed

The Russian army shelled 16 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region over the past day, an 85-year-old man was killed in Huliaipole.

Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy launched 69 attacks on 16 front-line settlements of Zaporizhzhia region... During the artillery attack on a residential quarter in Huliaipole, an 85-year-old man was seriously injured. He was promptly taken to the nearest medical facility, but, unfortunately, it was not possible to save the resident of Huliaipole,” Malashko said.

According to him, a total of 60 artillery strikes were launched on Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Yehorivka, Malynivka, Stepnohirsk. Orikhiv and Preobrazhenka were attacked three times by aerial bombs, and Orikhiv, Novodarivka, and Chervone came under MLRS attacks.

According to the regional administration, 43 reports of damage to civilian objects were recorded.

As reported, one person was injured, and private houses and a club were damaged in Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv region.
