Following Russia’s overnight attack on Kyiv, the fragments of enemy drones landed in four districts of the capital city. Two people were taken to hospital.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, rescuers extinguished a fire on a balcony on floor 5 in the 16-storey residential building. Two civilians were found poisoned by combustion products there, but they refused to go to hospital. One more person was rescued and taken to a safe distance.

In another location, the façade of a 25-storey residential building was damaged on the top floor level without subsequent fire. Two civilians received shrapnel injuries and were taken to hospital.

Additionally, a one-storey inoperative building caught fire with a total area of 20 square meters. Rescuers promptly extinguished it, as well as the debris on fire in the green space of the building adjacent grounds.

A total of 95 professionals and 19 equipment units of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were involved in rescue works.
