Russian tank pulled out of Desna River in Chernihiv region

In the area of the village of Shestovytsia, Chernihiv region, sapper divers pulled out a Russian tank from the Desna River.

The State Special Transport Service of Ukraine posted this on Facebook.

The State Special Transport Service and the military of the Operational Command "North" pulled out a Russian tank that sunk during an unsuccessful attempt to cross the Desna River in the area of Shestovytsia village in Chernihiv region.

As noted, the trophy does not have significant damage by external signs. The Russian tank will be delivered for further restoration and will enter service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The State Special Transport Service noted that Russian troops had repeatedly attempted to redeploy their units across the Desna River in the area of Shestovytsia village during the battles near Chernihiv but had been defeated.
