The North Crimean Canal nearly ran out of water near the village of Semysotka in Crimea after Russian forces blew up the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

The corresponding photos were published by the Telegram channel Crimean Wind, Ukrinform reports.

"This is what the North Crimean Canal looks like now in the area of the village of Semysotka of the Lenin district. Different types of freshwater plants have completely occupied the remains of the water surface," the post said.
