Ukrainian film director and writer Oleg Sentsov, who is currently fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, came under artillery fire.

He announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"The week did not go well. On our first combat mission upon my return, during the landing, we came under artillery fire. The Bradley saved our lives again," Sentsov wrote.

According to him, three soldiers were wounded, mostly with shrapnel.

"They've already removed it [the shrapnel] from my face, the small ones in my arm and leg will stay with me forever. The other guys are also doing well - Zaporizhzhia doctors know their job, thank you!" Sentsov said.

Sentsov suffered a concussion at the front on July 9. In June, he was awarded the rank of junior lieutenant.

On July 14, Sentsov said he was returning to the front.
