One killed, five injured in Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia region’s Orikhiv
One civilian was killed and five injured as Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region’s Orikhiv.
The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Yurii Malashko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“A woman, 72, was killed in the air attack on a residential district in Orikhiv. Five more residents were injured: a man, 48, received medical aid at the scene; three women, aged 43, 73 and 79, and a man, 75, were promptly taken to hospital,” Malashko wrote.
In his words, Russian attacks have affected 24 frontline settlements over the past day.
The enemy opened fire 104 times. In particular, Russian invaders launched air strikes on Orikhiv, Novodarivka and Mala Tokmachka; drone attacks on Novoandriivka; and multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks on Novodarivka, Temyrivka, Novoivanivka and Kamianske.
Additionally, Russian troops struck Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Preobrazhenka, Kamianske, Plavni, Piatykhatky and other settlements at the contact line with artillery 95 times.
Following Russian attacks, twenty-six civilian objects were damaged: apartment blocks and detached houses, household buildings, cars, and other property.
