Hundreds of cars queue up on Kerch Bridge, ferry
After the opening of reverse traffic on the Kerch Bridge, queues of hundreds of cars formed.
That's according to the National Resistance Center, Ukrinform reports.
"As of 16:00, there are 676 cars in the queue from Taman, and 600 cars from Kerch. The waiting time is more than two hours," the report says.
It is noted that students from the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region were brought to the Kerch Bridge to help drivers in traffic jams. The Russians present this as a youth initiative, but in reality, these are pseudo public movements like the "Young Guard", where Russians enroll young people under various pretexts.
As the Crimean Tatar Resource Center reports on Telegram, citing the occupation adviser to the "head" of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov, there are 34 temporary accommodation centers in the temporarily occupied Feodosia and Kerch for those waiting for their turn to catch a ferry across the Kerch Strait.
"Some boarding houses and hotels have extended the period of stay of vacationers on their territories, postponing their departure to a later date," he informed.
It is noted that 16 boarding houses, hotels and tourist centers are ready to receive up to 600 people waiting for the ferry in Feodosia. They are offered accommodation and meals. In Kerch, there are 18 such temporary accommodation centers.
Kryuchkov added that other hotels could be used if necessary.
As Ukrinform reported, last night, Russians launched traffic on the Kerch Bridge using one of the lanes that was not damaged in the explosion.
